2 for 2 Travel by Standby

Well day one got started early. We left Higganum just after 3am and drove a slow and slippery road to JFK. 

Full flight but we made it on.. Any seat is a good seat when you fly standby.  Just over 5 hours to LA, a leasurely Cobb salad lunch a walk around terminals 5 & 6, purchase of a sandwich to share and a cup of tea and we were prepared for the final flight of the day to Honolulu. This time we were middle of the plane and not in the last two seats.  Yet another 5+ hour flight is underway.

Arrived in Honolulu and greeted by Betsy, Lloyd and Gina. It was a good travel day!
